Columbia City, IN - One of the strengths of Ultra Electronics USSI is to collaborate with other technology innovators to provide top of the line solutions to our armed forces. Among many examples is the latest group effort between Ultra Electronics USSI and Military Systems Group to provide the HyperSpike® HS-16 on a standard swing arm mount. Combining the two technologies allows the HS-16 to be integrated into systems that need agility and enhanced functionality to successfully perform combat actions.
Shown in the photos, the HS-16 is integrated into the 50 cal Crew Served Weapon mount using the standard double articulated swing arm. Currently used in Iran and Afghanistan, the swing arm mount is also deployed with the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, & Special Operations. The swing arm has a safety confirmation from Picatinny Arsonal (US Army). This nimble solution can also be used to mount the HyperSpike® HS-16 to vehicles, vessels, and stationary points that need to have the dexterity and alertness of a movable acoustic hailing device.
Smartly integrated onto the HS-16 is the laser dazzler by B.E. Myers and a high intensity Maxa Beam search light by Peak Beam Systems. In addition to these accessories, the HS-16 is designed to accept a variety of accessories which will ensure a large safety zone for military personnel. All in all, the customizable and agile HyperSpike® HS-16 will provide the ability to discern intent and provide warnings with clear unambiguous long range communication for any application.
